Hello, and welcome to Qitah Cattery. We are happy you have come to visit us today. We are located in Fredericskburg, Virginia, just one hour south of Washington, DC.
 Our cattery was started when we brought a beautiful brown patch tabby kitten home in 1996. Since that day we have learned so much! We test our breeding cats for HCM and at this time the entire cattery has been tested and found to be clear. We are now starting to test for hip dysplasia.
We specialize in solids, silvers, smokes, cameos and (hopefully!) shaded cats. We still get the occasional brown, blue and red tabbies too.

We are happy to introduce our newest female -- Qitah's Bast. She is a beautiful black smoke born March 2004. She is currently out on the show circuit and when she is a little older she will be our newest breeding girl.
We are sorry for the lack of updates over the last six months. We will be posting more pictures soon.

to socialize them properly. All our kittens are picked up and held at an early age. Our goal is to raise kittens that will greet guests at the door and love human contact.
We place most of our kittens in homes where they can be loving pets. Many times I place kittens that could easily be breeder/show quality as pets. Each applicant is screened carefully and we try to make the best fit possible. Placing kittens is hard as they are my children and I am letting someone else raise them. I ask that all my kitten owners take pictures and send them to me and let me know how the kittens are doing.
